NEWLY NATURAL: 11 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE GOING NATURAL..

God is within her, she will not fail, God will help her at break of day- Psalm 46 vs 5
Hellooooooooooo😊😊☺️
All my beautiful and dedicated blog readers, I really want to appreciate all of you, I mean all of you
And most especially those of you that message me to tell me to post often, that you enjoy my blog posts..you guys keep me going👍👍
I would like to announce to you guys...that........*drum roll* I would be launching my YouTube channel soon, very soon. I am still waiting for a couple of things before I officially start, hopefully by this time next month I would have a video on my channel.
You can subscribe to my channel on " TheWestAfricanBeauty" . Just click on the link in my Instagram bio "@king_adeizey" and it would take you straight there. Thanks for all the support and love, I appreciate each and everyone of you.
So?? Lol
Let's discuss the topic of the day.
11 things you should know before going natural..more like 11 things I learnt from being natural because I didn't know these things when I became natural.
Just thought I should share this information with you 'goizzz' since I have been getting a lot of questions ( lol, I am already feeling important).
This list was supposed to be longer, but I was requested to do a newly natural series, so I would be adding everything in other blog posts..😊😄😃😀
Are you about to big chop? Just natural or you have been natural for a while? You could benefit from this or tell a friend to tell a sister who might just need this information,

1. Your hair doesn't grow faster once you decide to turn natural. It grows at the same length it was when you were relaxed. You probably weren't noticing or weren't caring for your hair and most likely abusing it when you were relaxed. If it grew at one inch a month, it would most likely still grow at one inch a month when you become natural.

2. Brace yourselves guys because this might hurt your feelings😩😫. Hair products don't make your hair grow any faster. It makes your hair manageable, healthy and easy to deal with. Your hair would still grow at the same rate. It just gives it a better breeding, clean, moisturized ground to ensure it grows at that rate and doesn't get stunted. So baby girls, 25 dollar conditioner doesn't ensure you 2 inches in a month. The earlier you know this, the better so you don't get turned on by those advertisements that say 4-days action...yes! They stimulate growth like I earlier explained, but baby girl no no and no they don't in any way make it grow faster.

3. There are good hair days and bad hair days. You hair would just not feel great some days for no just reason.

4. If you want the easy hair life? You should reconsider your decision to go natural. Natural hair needs love and dedication. If you were spending 30mins on your hair, you most likely would spend an hour when you become natural. Also, keep in mind that wash day can take two years depending on the condition of your hair.

5. The saddest of all, lol! Most of your allowance would be spent buying coconut oil and shea butter.

6. When you decide to be natural, not everyone you know would support you..some people would give you a million and one reasons why you shouldn't cut your hair...if and when you big chop, people might call you names (especially if you live in Africa) they would tell you how they feel hair is a pride of a woman, and cutting it is for a woman that lost her husband.

7. Your relaxed friends won't understand why egg and honey must be mixed into your hair or how natural hair drinks beer..they just won't!

8. Not every talked about product would work for you, you don't need every product talked about. That's why I keep saying YouTube is not the best place to learn everything, you just have to figure most part of it yourself from watching and listening to your hair's needs.

9. Becoming natural doesn't automatically equal healthy hair. You have to make it work. You can be natural and unhealthy and relaxed with very healthy hair.

10. Everybody's hair rate is different, some peoples hair grow faster that others. Be patient with your hair. Length checking every two days won't speed up the growth. Be patient. Be patient. Be very very patient.

11. Lastly,  need to go natural for the right reasons and with the right motivation or you would end up going back to where you started from..

GOODLUCK ON YOUR HAIR JOURNEY!!

LET'S TALK LIPSTICK: MEET THIS MAC BAD BOY!!! (PRODUCT REVIEW).

Mercy unto you, and Peace and love, Be multiplied- Jude 1 V 2.

Hello guys,
I have been Gone for too long ( is there ever a post I dont say that?:( ). I am so so sorry guys. I have been a bit occupied ( busy woman status ;D)..(I see you rolling your eyes but i stay unbothered:p)

I want to share this not too recent lippie (thats what the cool kids call lipstick) with you guys. "MAC'S FLAT OUT FABULOUS" from their retro matte line. Need i say more?? The name says it all. This is fabulous and way too gorgeous. It is probably my most worn lipstick this month.
I got this from Mac store for about 18 dollars or so (kent remember again).

Do i regret buying this?? Never guys..Never.

PROS:

                                                        LIPSTICK SWATHCES!!!!

  1. Pretty beautiful shade (not too pink, not too purple). This lipstick defiles the law of "you cant sit on a fence".
  2. Good packaging   this shouldnt be on this list because y'all know Mac never disappoints.
  3. It goes super well with natural hair( you might be thinking, why did this make the list?? this is because not all lipsticks fit you on your natural hair especially when your hair is not so long)
  4. Really pigmented with long staying power. (I bet this can stay on for two weeks straight) Dont take me serious, but this lasts even after eating and drinking regarding how clumsy i get when i eat

CONS

  1. Too matte and drying (which is not so much of a problem for me but can be for some) this can be easily corrected by moisturizing (a little) before application.

some selfies taken wearing this lipstick:)

                                               DUCK FACE NEVER GETS OLD

DETAILS ON THIS LOOK WOULD BE UP ON THE BLOG TOMORROW:*

Natural Hair: Night time routine and product review.

.....many waters cannot quench love, rivers cannot wash it away. if one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned- Solomon 8 vs7.

Hello guys, happy new year!!! I know I have been away for way too long. I really do owe you guys a lot of posts but been super lazyX_X.
Okay, so I would love to share my night time routine with you guys, as well as review some amazing products. If you know me personally or follow me on any social network, you would realize I have been putting my hair in a puff lately..it's been my go to style. Super easy and stress free(post coming soon). Well, this is one of the ways in which I achieve it.
My night time routine is really not a lot, it's basically just three products(or more) depending on the state of my hair..(I would explain).
So firstly, 1. It's time for bed and I can't sleep with my hair just like that because it would tangle with each other and be difficult to manage in the morning, although I must confess that sometimes i sleep in my puffs(when I am extra lazy), this doesn't make my hair dry or not manageable but I just like that extra freshness and softness in the morning plus my puff looks bigger. 1. I start by spraying my hair with the soft and beautiful(JUst for me) 2-in-1 conditioning detangler. I work this in sections(four sections). And then use my finger to detangle each section.

2. I add my aunt jackies "knot in my watch instant detangling therapy as I work my through the different sections" The just for me works great, but I feel when it is combined with the aunt jackies detangler, it leaves my hair so amazing!! Just like bread and butter..these two combinations do the magic for me.

 3. I may or may not use a comb at this point since finger detangling works for me..then I add the organics Shea butter and tea tree oil moisturizer to moisturize my hair. This step could be optional as the AUnt jackies detangling lotion is creamy and also doubles as a leave-in..but I have tried this and it leaves my hair really soft and amazing.

 4. I add my Africa's best herbal oil to my sections. I must say this oil is really amazing and my hair loves it. Just got this about two weeks ago and it has become a favorite. (The oil is to seal in the moisture)

 5. Lastly I add my okays mango butter to each section. I know almost every natural swears by Shea butter. I love me some shea butter too but don't judge me, I prefer this to Shea butter..it smells great, glides into the hair easily and does the Job. I sometimes mix this together with my Shea butter as sheabutter stretches my hair.
 6. At this stage, I am done rubbing things and then I put my hair in twists..probably 10-12 I guess never really counted or braids if I really want the hair stretched for the puff 7. I put on my satin bonnet, and I am off to bed.

NIGHT TIME ROUTINE EVERY OTHER NIGHT...
Humm... okay, I don't moisturize every night..simply because with the above routine, my hair should stay moisturized for at least 2-3 days, and I really don't want moisture overload so my routine for nights I don't moisturize is different
 1. I spritz my hair with the detangling spray which is optional depending on if I have knots or tangles, sometimes I add Aunt Jackies detangler but really small because this on its own is moisturizing(other times I skip this step)
2.i apply the oil to my hair or just to the tips and put on little of the mango butter. Twist my hair, put it in a satin bonnet and go to bed. Really simple and stressfree😊☺️

                            PRODUCT REVIEW!!!!
Okay so now to the really interesting part, I would be reviewing some products for you guys today. Some of these I just bought, others I have had for a while but been too lazy(as usual😩😫😓)

 1. sOFT AND BEAUTIFUL JUST FOR ME 2-IN-1 CONDITIONING DETANGLER
. Well! Well! Well!!! What can I say??? Boy! I have been hooked. This detangling spray is really amazing. Easy to apply, you don't need to press or anything, just spritz baby..initially came with a cap on the head but I threw that away..nobody has time to be capping and recapping. It's safe like that still. Does this condition? Lol yes I guess so but I don't use this alone but it does make my hair soft. It smells great too, also beautiful and girly packaging which I am a sucker for😔😌😒

 2. AFRICA's BEST ULTIMATE HERBAL OIL
Amazing itself in a bottle!!! This stuff does wonders. Smells great..my hair loves it. The products says it could be used as a hot oil treatment, as a hair oil, bath and body and for body massage. Lol nobody tryna get this for about 15ec and use it as a hot oil treatment(not me tho). Lol using this as a hair oil works just fine( I would stick to my conditioner and other oils for hot oil treatment).

3.ORGANICS SHEA BUTTER AND TEA-TREe OIL MOISTURIZER:
Love this! Really moisturizing and heavily creamy. Doesn't leave any white residue at initial application, doesn't flake or anything. It makes my hair super soft and manageable. I feel like I can DETANGLE with this as it has the same consistency with the Aunt JAckies detangling lotion haven't tried this as a DETANGLER yet, (so don't judge me). It is heavily water based, so yes! It does shrink the hair so I would advice this should be used after washing or before styling not when you want to moisturize in between a one week or three-day style. It would shrink it fan. oNe thing I really don't like about this product, after it is let to sit for a while, the oil would sink to the bottom of the bottle and you could see the demarcation between the oil and creamy product which I suppose is Shea butter. This can be easily fixed when you shake it tho, it just makes it look expired. But other than that, I love this product on my hair!!!. I use it as a leave-in

 4.oKAY 100% MANGO BUTTER :
Lol what can I say? This butter does wonders. It smells really great.adds shine and helps dull hair. It could also be used on the skin. I personally use this on my body at night sometimes. It also boasts of helping to heal sunburn.

 5. SHEA BUTTER MIRACLE MOISTURE INTENSE BUTtERY CREME HAIR
MOISTURIZER

. This product is really moisturizing. It has a really buttery and thick formula so I don't use this on my hair while it's wet. I love my leave-ins to be creamy and able to DETANGLE at the same time. Saves a lot of work that way. I use this on dry hair with no water. I massage this into my hair, a little goes a long way. It has a really strong fruity smell that I am not really a fan of. It makes my hair soft. It also says it is perfect for Transitioners

. 6.AUNT JACkIES CURLS AND COILS " KNOT ON MY WATCH " INSTANT DETANGLING THERAPY.

Omg!!!! I can't say enough about this product.this is bae..I have tried almost all the products from Aunt Jackies hair line and I have had amazing results with all!! This would forever be a staple as long as I can get my hands on it. This stuff DETANGLES so well..I run my comb thru it and yes!!! Girl it glides through. I also noticed that it defines my curls. So it's really good for a wash and go(would try this soon). Really creamy and makes my hair super soft..and omg!! The smell??? It smells like ice cream..lol when I put this on I go around telling people to smell my hair and call me "ice cream baby hair" lol yass! It's that amazing.
